Our beef is completely organic, grass fed, and grass finished. That means they eat what cows were created to eat....GRASS. During the warmer months when grass is lush and abundant, our cows are rotated regularly to insure they are foraging on the highest quality of grasses on our farm. In the colder months, when most grasses are dormant, our cows have hay available 24/7. The hay that is supplied to them, comes from our own pastures here at Green Meadows Farm.  We never spray any weed killers or pesticides on our hay fields. This ensures our cows are getting the safest most chemical free hay we know of.
